Our new pavilion on the second ground is coming on apace thanks to some hard work from the contractors and also from lots of the club members.
For those that have played there since we entered a Third XI in the league will have had the pleasure of changing in a sea container, which has more than served its purpose over the years. However, we’re now well on the way to completing the new changing facility project in time for the 2018 season.
An army of club members put in a huge shift on 21 October to lay the block and beam floor on top of the base which has allowed the brickie to start work and huge strides have been made already.
A week later, several courses of bricks have gone down and things are starting to take shape.
It’s hoped that the roof trusses will be up before Christmas allowing the roofing to be added and then the internal work to be done and dusted ahead of the start of the 2018 season.
Club members will be needed to help erect the trusses – please lend some time to help us keep the costs of the project down and help to complete it as soon as we can. You can view the full plans here.
