What Are We Doing?
The ethos at Sileby Town has always been one of forever looking to improve ourselves, both on and off the field. Our next stage of evolution brings focus to the facilities on our second field – where the pitch and outfield are among some of the best in the county but the changing and scoring facilities need to be upgraded.
The cabin, which has fulfilled its role as changing facility has done so manfully since the field first came in to use in 2008, but it’s now time to move forwards. Our plan is to build a new facility on the second field, replacing the existing cabin and scorebox with a purpose built building. This new purpose built facility would service the expanding Academy and provide a more welcoming environment for our Ladies and Girls teams which also continue to grow, as highlighted by our Academy Manager, Mark Barber, during his appearance on East Midlands Today for his Unsung Hero nomination: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p037vdmm.

UPDATE: October 2017 – The block and beam floor has now been put into place. The walls and roof are hoped to be built and in place for Christmas – a tremendous effort from all involved to date.
We Need You!
However, this work cannot be completed without the aid of numerous grants, donations from businesses and time given up by willing volunteers. Over the summer of 2017 we will be seeking assistance from all club members to see if they, or a friend or family member can help through donating their skills, expertise, contacts or time to us.
How Can I Help?
If you are or know of a business or individual that can assist us, no matter how small, please contact Richard James on 07713 132 650.
