Sileby Town Cricket Club was formed in 1895, with the club being a cornerstone of cricketing excellence for young cricketers over the last twenty plus years. Sileby is situated off the main A6 between Leicester and Loughborough and is easily accessible from many of the surrounding villages.
Sileby Town CC is recognised as one of the flagship clubs in Leicestershire for young cricketers and the hard work and commitment has been recognised by the awarding of the coveted Clubmark accreditation, with Sileby being one of the first clubs in Leicestershire to achieve this status. Sileby were also selected by the ECB as one of their Focus Clubs for the 2007 NatWest Cricket Force weekend.
The club offers players of all ages and races the opportunity to play the wonderful game that is cricket in a picturesque setting, on good wickets, with excellent facilities in a friendly family atmosphere. The club also has an army of qualified coaches, full CRB checked helpers and volunteers and offers a safe environment for young cricketers to learn and play the game.
