A rampant Hinckley pace attack put the Seconds batting to the sword as they registered a league double over the Mill Laners with an eight wicket win.
Sukhvir Singh (4-34) and Rajiv Sen (4-10) did the lions share of the damage with the pair sharing eight wickets to roll Sileby for 68 as they made the most of having the opportunity to field first.
Only Connor Simon, who came away with several bruise mementos from his innings, stuck it out manfully for 13 and Josh Winterton 15 but Sileby’s batting lineup had no answer to the Hinckley new ball pair.
There was a brief flicker of hope for Sileby when Chris Trevis (2-28) struck two early blows to remove Craig Crowe (8) and Pintu Patel (5) only for Syed Abrar (24 not out) and Avish Patel (29 not out) to knock off the remaining runs to seal the most simple of 25 points for the home side.
With the Division One leaders shield now out of the window, the end of the season cannot come soon enough for the Seconds, who have had a considerable dip in form of late, as they face a run in of games at home to Kibworth Seconds and champions elect the Langtons.
